The FOX Performance Series 985-24-028 rear shock is designed for the 2007 and newer Jeep JK platform and applications with 0–2 inches of lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, predictable off-road handling, and reduced vehicle sway.

A true internal floating piston separates the oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant damping performance. The race-developed main piston and aluminum body support dependable operation during demanding driving conditions, while aluminum dissipates heat faster than conventional steel materials.

Built for long-term service, this FOX shock features a redundant sealing system and is fully serviceable and tunable. The durable powder-coated seamless alloy body, black anodized CNC-machined aluminum components, and Teflon-lined heat-treated spherical bearings are designed to withstand harsh environments and extended use.
