The FOX Performance Series 985-24-039 front shock is designed for Jeep JK applications with a 2.5- to 4-inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, predictable off-road handling, and a connected driving feel with reduced vehicle sway.

This shock uses a remote reservoir system to help dissipate heat and maintain consistent performance. A true internal floating piston separates the oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, while FOX Racing oil and a race-developed main piston support fade-resistant damping performance in demanding conditions.

An aluminum body helps dissipate heat faster than conventional steel materials and is paired with black anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components. The shock also features a large, heavy-duty hard-chrome 5/8-inch shaft and hourglass bushings that allow increased articulation.

Built with race-proven FOX technology, this fully serviceable shock is designed to withstand harsh environments and corrosion. An aluminum reservoir clamp is included. The product fits listed 2011 and 2013 Jeep Wrangler applications.
