The FOX Performance Series 987-24-013 rear shock is designed for 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL applications with a 2-3 inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, reduced vehicle sway and predictable off-road handling. High-flow, velocity-sensitive damping helps maintain controlled performance across changing terrain and driving conditions.

Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body, the shock dissipates heat efficiently for consistent, fade-resistant performance. The Type II clear-anodized body plating and corrosion-resistant construction help it withstand harsh environments, while the 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft provides durable operating performance.

An internal floating piston separates gas and oil to support consistent damping, and the hydraulic top-out piston helps manage suspension extension. The FOX Performance Series shock is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing service and adjustment over its operating life.
