The FOX Performance Series 987-24-016 front shock is designed for 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT applications with a 2–3-inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, reduced vehicle sway, and predictable off-road handling. The performance-focused design helps extend drop-out travel in most applications for increased off-road capability.

A high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system provides consistent control across changing terrain and driving conditions. The shock uses a true internal floating piston (IFP) to separate gas and oil, along with a hydraulic top-out (HTO) piston. These features support fade-resistant performance and a connected ride while helping maintain predictable damping during demanding use.

The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body helps dissipate heat more effectively than conventional materials and includes Type II clear-anodized body plating.
