The FOX Performance Series 987-24-017 rear shock is designed for the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT with a 2–3-inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride while delivering predictable off-road handling and a more connected driving experience.

High-flow velocity-sensitive damping helps manage suspension movement, while the internal floating piston separates gas and oil for consistent, fade-resistant performance. The hydraulic top-out piston is designed to help control suspension extension, and the Performance Series design can increase off-road capability by extending drop-out travel in most applications.

The shock uses an impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body with Type II clear-anodized body plating for heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. A 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft and race-developed main piston support durable performance in demanding environments.

Built for long-term serviceability, the FOX Performance Series shock is fully rebuildable and re-tunable. Its corrosion-resistant construction and race-proven design provide reliable suspension performance for truck and SUV applications.
