The FOX Performance Series 987-24-018 front shock is designed for the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT with a 3.5–4-inch lift. It uses application-specific valving to provide a comfortable on-road ride, predictable off-road handling, and a connected feel with reduced vehicle sway. High-flow, velocity-sensitive damping helps the shock respond to changing terrain and driving conditions.

Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this FOX shock is designed for consistent, fade-resistant performance. The aluminum construction dissipates heat four times better than conventional materials, while the Type II clear-anodized body plating helps resist corrosion and harsh environments. A 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft adds durable performance for demanding use.

An internal floating piston separates gas and oil to help maintain damping consistency, while the hydraulic top-out piston supports controlled suspension movement. The shock is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing service and performance adjustments over its service life.
