The FOX 987-24-062 Performance Series smooth-body front shock is designed for the 2020–2021 Jeep Gladiator and applications with a 4.5–6-inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, reduced vehicle sway, and predictable off-road handling. High-flow, velocity-sensitive damping helps deliver consistent control across changing terrain and driving conditions.

Built with an impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, the shock dissipates heat efficiently and provides corrosion-resistant performance in harsh environments. A Type II clear-anodized body finish adds protection, while the 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft supports durability in demanding use.

An internal floating piston separates gas and oil to promote consistent, fade-resistant damping. The hydraulic top-out piston helps manage suspension extension, while the performance-focused design extends drop-out travel in most applications. FOX race-developed components provide controlled suspension response for both street driving and off-road use.
