The FOX Performance Series 987-24-063 rear shock is designed for 2019 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT applications with a 4.5- to 6-inch lift. Its application-specific valving is tuned to support a comfortable on-road ride, predictable off-road handling, and a connected driving experience with reduced vehicle sway.

This smooth-body shock uses a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, a race-developed main piston, and an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates gas and oil for consistent, fade-resistant performance. High-flow velocity-sensitive damping helps manage changing terrain and driving conditions.

FOX builds the Performance Series with a Type II clear-anodized body finish, a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft, and corrosion-resistant materials suited to harsh environments. The aluminum construction helps dissipate heat, while the hydraulic top-out (HTO) piston supports controlled suspension movement.

The FOX 987-24-063 is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing the shock to be serviced and adjusted over time. It is engineered with FOX performance technology for demanding truck and SUV use, including off-road driving where durable, consistent damping is essential.
